Feast of St Peter and St Paul

The feast is held on the 29th June and celebrates the life and work of possibly the two greatest disciples and apostles of the early Church. It is also the Patronal Festival of Maidford Parish Church and in that way it may be thought of as its birthday.

Traditionally the priest wears white or gold vestments on this day.

In 2003 the feast was celebrated by a united benefice Sung Holy Communion at St Peter's and St Paul's Church Maidford. When about 60 people from all four parishes jioned together with the benefice choir to celebrate Maidford's patronal festival.
